The staff and consultants that are part of Athletics Precision LLC have over 100 years and 10,000 athletes combined experience in training. Everyone who is associated with Athletic Precision is dedicated to and has a passion for increasing an athletes performance. Each coach is and was an athlete themselves and knows the drive, dedication and determination that is needed to take your performance to the next level.

Frank Colabella III PTA, ATC/L, CSCS, Level 2-CGFI, SPARQ (President/Coach)

Frank Colabella president of Athletic Precision is a graduate at Northern Arizona University, Montclair State University, and Suffolk Community College where he receive his degrees in exercise physiology, athletic training, sports administration and physical therapy assistant.

Frank has worked in the high school, college, professional, and Olympic levels for over 15 years. Prior to founding Athletic Precision, Frank was the Head athletic trainer at Gulf Coast Community College and at 4 local high schools in Panama City Florida. Frank also served as head athletic trainer for the Huntsville fire, assistant at Florida State University, and assistant rehab specialist for the New Jersey Devils. Frank worked as an athletic trainer for the 1996 Para Olympic games in Atlanta. Prior to the Salt Lake City 2002 winter Olympics frank served as one of the athletic trainer and conditioning coaches preparing the athletes that prior summer. He also served as assistant medical coodinator for the Gulf Coast triathlon (qualifier for the Ironman) and AAU Baseball Junior National World Series, athletic trainer for numerous Disney marathons, sunshine state games.

These past couple of years Frank has worked with the USA bobsled, Junior National luge, freestyle aerial ski team, Greco-roman and freestyle Junior National wrestling team, National karate and Team Handball team. Currently Frank is keeping busy with Athletic Precision, serving as head athletic trainer for TEAM FLORIDA USA , assistant trainer for Mercer Community College, and Head athletic trainer for a high school in new jersey. As an athlete Frank was an 2nd team all-American in soccer at Suffolk Community College, played football at Northern Arizona University, and was a member of the national Team Handball Team. Frank is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), a certified memeber of the the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). As well as a Level 2 Certified Golf Fitness Porfessional and a level 2 Golf Biomechanist by the Titleist Performance Institue and a Certified SPARQ Trainer

Manny Collins SPARQ Certified (Sports Performance coach)

A recent graduate from Rutgers University. Varsity football for 4 years a starter for 3 years where he played Defensive back. Currently in football camp and works with Athletic Precision when he is not playing professional football to give back to the young athletes with his knowledge and experience in sports performance.

Steve Merchant (Baseball Development Consultant)

This will be Steve's third season as Assistant Baseball Coach for Gulf Coast Community College in Pnama City florida.. His duties are to be our hitting instructor and work defensively with the catchers. Steve will also be asked to handle recruiting for the Commodores.

Steve has been coaching baseball for 21 years and has won four State Championships: 2 Dizzy Dean (89, 94), 1 Babe Ruth (91) and 1 USSSA (98); and four World Series: 1 Dizzy Dean (94), 1 CABA (01), and 2 USA Junior Olympic Titles (00, 01). In 1987, Steve began his coaching career with the local American Legion Post 66 Squad. In 1997, Steve created what is now Team Florida USA. TFUSA is a nationally recognized summer baseball squad that has produced major league players such as Scott Kazmir (Devil Rays), James Loney (Dodgers), Chad Billingsley (Dodgers), Zack Grienke (Royals), Billy Butler (Royals), Jerrod Saltalamacchia (Rangers), Mike Pelfrey (Mets), Troy Patton (Astros), Jensen Lewis (Indians), and Ryan Sweeney (White Sox). This will be Steve's 12th season as Director of Baseball Operations and Manager of TFUSA.
